New Year....Old problems

Is there anybody who really thinks as a country we are going to pull out of this depression that were in any time soon? With all indications pointing at continued high rates of unemployment, more U.S corporations "outsourcing" their work to third world countries its quiet apparent to any prudent person that we (if ever) have a long arduous task ahead of us.

For those of us age fifty and older, it is extremely stressful knowing that starting in the year 2029 (the first year baby-boomers can start looking to retire)there may not be social security benefits waiting for us.

To think that the previous generation filled with WWII vets, and folks with little to no education with some coming to the United States as babies, will go down in history known for doing better financially than their own educated offspring.

Are you following me? We can use my baby boomer constituents who statistically are smarter, make more money than their parents ever did, have the same amount of kids or less, live in a better home in a better neighborhood, but will come up short at the end of the road if you are an "average" joe or jane.

What a joke, what a travesty. So tell me, what good has my college education done for me. I know, I went back to college late in life. My bad.

Unfair advantage

As I'm watching the news this past weekend one issue of mine came to mind. I am all for equal rights for all people. However, I have a problem with every time I turn around a minority is being hired or placed in a position of employment that they are not worthy of having.

I've also noticed there is a lot of discrimination against white men. Especially those white men over the age of 50. Why is that? Why would corporate America turn its back on the gender (and race) that built this county and most businesses. Just to hire a woman or other minority.

I know that I'm not the only one that is aware of this unfair advantage permeating throughout all ranks of employers. Do you really think a woman is going to do a better job as a "fireman" or "cop" (as examples) more so than a man? If you believe that crap I want to know what your smoking.

What the country needs is a organization that helps just men. We have been the sole providers, protectors, and top money earners for decades. However, in today's society we men are now a treated like second rated citizens as illegal aliens infiltrate our borders. Wake up America before you find out your new boss is from Mexico or India and wants your job dissolved.
